So here it is, check it out! We’ve had our resident web guru, the wonderful Gaia Chik working away on this thing of beauty for a while now, and we’re ready to go live. 3 – 2 -1 GO!!!!!!!

Size Nine – more than just a name!

You know what they say about people with big feet? Yep, big voices. Our beautiful singer, Breezy, rocks a pair of sizenine’s that she stamps when she’s angry. Due to the difficult nature of buying shoes for said feet, she can be angry a lot.
So that’s why we’re called sizenine, and because the rest of the band, at the time, had sizenine feet too. We now have to surgically modify anyone new as an initiation.
If you, or someone you know, suffers from the condition of large feetedness then please write to the band email, we have all become trained councillers for this debilitating condition.

Remember, that come armageddon or council funding cuts, and the roads become holey and pot holed, you, with your hole spanning feet, and greater balance, will have a better chance of survival. As will your children, and large feeters will take over the world.

Who are we?

We are an eight piece band from South London. We combine the tightest rhythm section with the rowdiest horns, behind the gritty, thought-provoking lyrics and soulful tones of Brixton’s finest songstress, Breezy Lee Elthalion.

In addition to the music, we are all about the live show; we produce a high-energy, visual performance, taking the crowd on a journey through the songs which are guaranteed to have you on your feet with a universal appeal that spans and unites generations.

The influences found within the overall sound are as diverse as the personalities within the band. Drawing on elements from Latin to Jazz, a touch of Soul with the occasional rock-groove or drum ëní bass break, Size Nine has fused funky-soulful sounds from the past with a distinctly contemporary and urban feel to create their own organic and original music.

We get the people moving and onto their feet in good times and bad. A little white rabbit leading you into the moment, into the funk and through to the other side.
